PostSubject: Sadness...   Tue Nov 04, 2008 2:58 pm

These feelings are common after the end of a relationship, whatever the cause, and often regardless of who initiated the breakup.

Recovering from a breakup is not easy for anyone. Some people seem to take more time to mend their broken hearts than others, and some relationships can seem harder to resolve than others in your life.

There may be some things you can do to help speed the process, such as sharing your feelings with close friends or family members and taking good care of yourself physically. Getting plenty of rest, eating healthy, and exercising can help combat sadness and boost self-esteem.

Sometimes, though, the feeling of sadness may linger too long and interfere with life and with your regular routine. Talking to a mental health professional, like a psychologist, can help you sort through your feelings and begin the healing process.
